Printer Buying Guide
Before going out and buying a printer that you just like you should ask you self what you're going to be doing with your printer. Based on that you should decide what printer is the right one for you. The thing about printers is they're most affordable but the initial price is just the beginning. Cartridges and toners are what the companies are making money of and there are a lot of things to take into account as the prices differ quite a bit.
If you're just going to print ocassionally than an ink jet printer might be great for you and you'll come away really cheaply as ink jet printers are the cheapest printers available but if you print a little bit more you'll soon realize they aren't economical at all. Ink jet cartridges are not cheap and they run out quickly if you print on a regular bases. Especially if you print graphics and photos you'll have to replace them on a regular basis and the cost can really add up.
A better choice are possibly laser printers as they're a lot more economical and the toners they use can last for up to 2000-3000 pages so you can print quite a lot with them without having to replace them. The costs are usually measured in cost per page and laser toners have a big advantage there as they're a lot cheaper comparing to ink jet printers.
Ongoing costs of a printer easily add up and you should have that in mind and if you think about how you're going to be using your printer you'll probably be able to save a lot of money.
